Kawhi Leonard Dealing With "New" Knee Soreness
8 months agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (knee) has already been ruled out for Tuesday's meeting with the Kings. While many had assumed it was a routine night off for Leonard, head coach Ty Lue indicated that the veteran's knee issue is "new" and that he began experiencing soreness after the team's win over Charlotte on Sunday. There's hope he'll be back in the lineup on Thursday versus the Nuggets. For now, he traveled back to Los Angeles for treatment. With that said, Leonard has had an MVP-caliber season. But more importantly, he's appeared in 68 games, his most since the 2016-17 campaign. Of course, fantasy managers will be monitoring this situation closely. However, Norman Powell should get more action and scoring chances behind James Harden, Paul George, and Russell Westbrook until Leonard is back in the lineup.
