KaVontae Turpin Avoidable For Week 15
KaVontae Turpin remains a shaky fantasy option ahead of the Week 15 matchup against the Carolina Panthers. Last week, Turpin hauled in one of his four targets for 16 yards in the loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. He also rushed the ball twice for 15 yards, but he only saw 17 percent of the offensive snaps. The return of Brandin Cooks has pushed Turpin further back on the depth chart in recent weeks. It's hard to imagine Turpin making much of an impact as the fourth or fifth wideout in this offense.

KaVontae Turpin To Receive Second-Round Tender
KaVontae Turpin is expected to receive a second-round tender ($5.34 million) from the team, according to the Dallas Morning News' Calvin Watkins. Meanwhile, unrestricted free agents Carl Lawson and Chauncey Golston could walk this offseason. The Cowboys would like to bring back unrestricted free agents Bryan Anger and Trent Sieg. The move to give Turpin a second-round tender likely means that he'll be back with Dallas in 2025 after he made his second Pro Bowl in 2024 as a kick returner. The 28-year-old finished last year with 904 kickoff-return yards while being the only player in the NFL to return both a kickoff and a punt for touchdowns. On offense, he wasn't a big factor, catching 31 of his 52 targets for 420 yards and two touchdowns in 17 games (two starts).

KaVontae Turpin Logs 58 Scrimmage Yards In Season Finale
KaVontae Turpin touched the ball four times offensively on Sunday in the 23-19 loss to Washington. Turpin turned three receptions into 53 yards while also rushing once for five yards. He also ripped off a 30-yard kick return. The 28-year-old gadget player saw more involvement in the offense down the stretch with CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) out. Turpin becomes a restricted free agent in the spring, but Dallas will likely bring him back after a Pro Bowl season.

KaVontae Turpin Warrants Deep-League Consideration In Week 18
KaVontae Turpin should again be involved on offense in Week 18's matchup against the Washington Commanders. Turpin saw four targets and two carries in last week's blowout loss and without CeeDee Lamb (shoulder), the team lacks playmakers. Mike McCarthy will be looking for ways to get the ball into the hands of the speedy special teamer. While opportunities don't always translate into fantasy points, Turpin should see more opportunity than usual and is a deep-league flex option in the season's final game.

KaVontae Turpin Quiet In Loss To Eagles
KaVontae Turpin saw his largest snap share of the season but couldn't turn it into much as the team fell to the Eagles by 34 points. The TCU product finished with one reception for 16 yards on four targets and two carries for 18 yards with a 53% snap share. The Cowboys' offense was mostly shut down as Cooper Rush threw two interceptions and the pass-catchers finished with 148 yards on 29 combined targets. He'll go up against the Washington Commanders in another divisional game for the regular season finale.
