Karl-Anthony Towns Scores 23 Points Sunday Night
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns scored an efficient 23 points in Sunday's 111-81 blowout loss to the Blazers, shooting 7-for-13 from the floor and 7-for-8 from the line. He also finished 2-for-4 with the three-ball in 25 minutes. However, Towns had his double-double streak end on three games, as he finished with only five rebounds in what was another horrible outing by the Wolves. The team has been a mess at the start of the season, and the Jimmy Butler situation has left a big dent on Towns' play, with him averaging only 18.7 points per game so far. His numbers have improved recently, but there are clearly more reliable DFS options at center out there right now.
