Karl-Anthony Towns Finally Posts Double-Double
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves power forward/center Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 17 points and 14 rebounds in Monday's 101-91 victory against the Indiana Pacers, posting his first double-double of the season. He had 68 games last season with at least 10 points and 10 rebounds. Towns hit 6-for-12 from the field, including 1-for-5 from the perimeter, and he was a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line while swatting three shots. His start to the season has been a bit erratic, but he is starting to come on. He is averaging 24.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game over the past two, and he has a total of eight blocked shots in the past three outings. Next up is a trip to Toronto on Wednesday.
