Karl-Anthony Towns Comes Through With Another 30-Point Game
4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns dropped 30 points on 10-for-22 shooting in Friday's overtime loss against Boston, recording his fourth 30-point outing in five games. He was 4-for-9 with the three-ball and shot 6-for-6 at the line while notching 12 rebounds, seven assists and one steal with six turnovers in 42 minutes. Only a few can slow down KAT, and Minnesota's next opponent, the Bulls, are very unlikely to do it. Chicago is allowing the most points per 48 minutes in the league to opposing centers this season on close to 60 percent shooting.
