Chiefs Defense Faces Lesser Offense
3 weeks agoThe Kansas City Chiefs defense will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 9. The Chiefs held the Las Vegas Raiders offense to 20 points and racked up five sacks. Kansas City will now face the Buccaneers, a heavily depleted offensive unit coming into Week 9. The Buccaneers lost their top receivers, Chris Godwin and Mike Evans, in Week 7 and now have a hobbling receiving core. Sterling Shepard and Jalen McMillan are both questionable for Monday night's game with hamstring injuries. With Cade Otton serving as the team's top target, the Kansas City defense can zero in on who they need to eliminate from the contest. The Chiefs are heavy home favorites by nearly nine points and should be able to slow the Buccaneers offense. The Kansas City defense is ranked the top defense in our RotoBaller rankings this week, so start them confidently.
