K'Andre Miller Racks Up Four First-Period Points
2 years agoNew York Rangers defenseman K'Andre Miller had a historic outing Sunday against Nashville, becoming the first blue-liner in franchise history to tally four points in a single period. The Rangers scored a franchise-record six first-period goals, with Miller playing his part in it with two goals and two assists. It was a huge game for him all around, as Miller finished with six shots on goal, one block, two hits and a plus-five rating. The 23-year-old has made major strides this season, contributing eight goals and 30 assists in 67 games with 98 shots, 144 hits and 84 blocks.
