Kameron Misner Collects Three Hits, Homers Twice Monday
10 hours agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Kameron Misner got in on the action in Monday's 16-1 win over the Red Sox. Misner went 3-for-4 with a single, a solo home run, a two-run HR, and a walk. The 27-year-old drove a second-inning Tanner Houck breaking pitch over the left-center wall to score two and finished the scoring parade in the eighth inning, taking a Brennan Bernardino breaking pitch just over the right-field wall. Misner came into the season with no fantasy hype but has produced at a high level early on, slashing .400/.444/.775 with three HR, nine RBI, and a stolen base in 45 plate appearances. He has never produced extraordinary minor-league numbers, but fantasy managers could potentially turn to him as a spark plug for their lineups in the short term.
