Kamaru Usman Making Title Defense Against Former Teammate
4 years agoKamaru Usman (17-1) will enter the Octagon on Saturday for his third defense of the UFC welterweight champion he won by defeating then-champion Tyron Woodley back at UFC 235 in March of 2019. Since defeating Hayder Hassan to clinch the TUF 21 season for his team at the time, Usman has gone 11-0 in the UFC, with nine of those wins coming by decision. DraftKings has the Nigerian Nightmare as the sizable favorite with a salary of $9,000. He's averaging an astounding 125.3 fantasy points per contest. This is a tricky matchup against such a deadly submission artist in former teammate Gilbert Burns. One mistake against Burns could mean the end of the night for Usman.
