2 months agoHouston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn will look to build on last week's performance in Sunday's matchup against the Chicago Bears. He was highly involved and perfect in Week 1, an excellent opener for fantasy managers who drafted him to be an every-week starter. In Houston's 29-27 victory at Indianapolis, the UCLA product converted field goals of 51, 50, and 51 yards to go with two PATs for a fifth-place finish among fantasy kickers. Fairbairn signed a contract extension during the offseason and has clear job security on one of the NFL's better offenses, making him a steady K1 option as the Texans play host to Chicago in Week 2. If the Bears' offense struggles again in quarterback Caleb Williams' first road game, the Texans' offense should have plenty of chances — good news for a fantasy kicker.
