1 year agoCharlotte Hornets forward/center Kai Jones will sit out training camp for personal reasons, the team announced. The announcement came after Jones had recently made several bizarre social media posts. The 22-year-old was the 19th pick in the 2021 draft and has been a backup big for the team, playing in 67 games and averaging 9.1 minutes in his first two seasons in the league. One of his posts criticized Hornets starting center Mark Williams, which can't be good for team morale. On social media, Jones has also called himself a better player than Hornets star LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller, the team's top pick in this year's draft.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
