Kahale Warring Snags Final Practice Squad Spot
4 years agoBuffalo Bills tight end Kahale Warring was recently released by the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts. He hasn't stayed in one place for very long during camp, but has landed the final practice squad spot in Buffalo. The 6'5 tight end had three receptions for 35 yards during his limited time with the Houston Texans in 2020. He was actually drafted 11 spots before current Bills tight end Dawson Knox. Possibly, the Bills had scouted Warring in 2019 and feel like he has something to offer Buffalo. Nonetheless, he likely won't make an impact in Buffalo and should continue to be ignored in fantasy leagues.

Kahale Warring Promoted From Practice Squad
3 years agoThe Buffalo Bills elevated tight end Kahale Warring from the practice squad to the active roster for the Week 8 game against the Miami Dolphins. With Dawson Knox (hand) out, Warring will likely serve as Tommy Sweeney's backup. While Sweeney did find the end zone in Week 6 before the team's bye week, he's unlikely to rack up a ton of targets in Knox's absence as primarily a blocking-first tight end. Sweeney has played in 12 career games to this point, missed all of last season due to heart complications related to COVID-19 and has only four catches for four yards this season. And Warring, a third-round pick of the Houston Texans in 2019, has just three catches for 35 yards in seven career games played (all in 2020).
