Kadarius Toney “Turning The Corner”
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) is "finally seems to be turning the corner" after missing most of training camp due to COVID-19 and a hamstring injury. "Toney finally seems to be turning the corner after missing most of camp with COVID-19 and a hamstring injury," per Dan Duggan of The Athletic. The 2021 first-round pick will be worked into the offense slowly. "Expect jet sweeps and gadget plays to be the primary way for Toney to get involved in the offense early in the season. The hope is that Toney's role will grow as the season progresses," Duggan added. Toney has fantasy upside but is buried on the wide receiver depth chart behind Sterling Shepard, Kenny Golladay, and Darius Slayton. The 22-year-old is mainly a stash in deep-league/dynasty formats as he won't have a significant role with the Giants in his rookie season.
