4 years agoNew York Giants rookie wide receiver Kadarius Toney could take over for Sterling Shepard (hamstring) in the slot in Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints if Shepard is unable to play. Toney, the 20th overall pick in the draft, has had a limited role in the offense in the first three games of the season. He played just five and 19 snaps in the first two games before seeing 46 snaps in the Week 3 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. But Toney had just two catches on three targets for 16 yards despite Shepard and Darius Slayton (hamstring) getting injured in the first half. The 22-year-old has only four catches for 14 yards on the season. If Shepard and Slayton are out this weekend, Toney should see more opportunities, but he'll be hard to trust in starting fantasy lineups.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
