Kadarius Toney Could Have “Significant Role” In Week 1
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) could have a "significant role" in the regular-season opener against the Denver Broncos, per head coach Joe Judge. "I think it's realistic Toney could have a significant role against the Broncos based on how practices this week," said Judge. The Giants 2021 first-round pick missed most of training camp due to COVID-19 and a hamstring injury. Toney dubbed himself "ready to play" and will look to put a frustrating offseason behind him. The 22-year-old was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Toney, if available Sunday, could carve out a role in Week 1, but fantasy managers should leave him on their bench.
