Juwan Johnson Briefly Leaves Game, Records Season-High 45 Yards
12 months agoNew Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson briefly left Sunday's loss to Atlanta but returned and was needed after Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (thigh) did not return after suffering their own injuries. Johnson was targeted a season-high seven times, hauling in four receptions for 45 yards. Olave and Shaheed's injuries should be monitored throughout the week, as Johnson will be a top tight end option against Detroit next Sunday should both receivers not play. The fourth-year tight end should be a hot commodity on the waiver wire this week at a thin position.
