9 months agoPhoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic (ankle) is considered doubtful on Friday as he deals with an ankle sprain that he picked up on Thursday in their game against the Dallas Mavericks. The big man played only 19 minutes in that contest and posted five points, five rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block, and one turnover. He's been a key piece for the Suns' paint presence and on the boards this year. Since Nurkic couldn't play the full game on Thursday, Royce O'Neale stepped in and received some extra minutes while Drew Eubanks also got some time. Both of them will likely get more opportunities on Friday with O'Neale possibly getting the start if they decide to go with a smaller lineup.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
