2 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic feasted against the Rockets on Friday, helping the team to a 125-111 win with 27 points and a game-high 15 rebounds. He nailed his only attempt from deep and shot 12-for-17 from the field in 32 minutes of action, adding one assist and one steal to his line with three blocks and four turnovers. Nurkic has looked off form early in the season, but he now finds himself in a great situation to pick up momentum with Damian Lillard (calf) set to miss at least one week. The Bosnian Beast has another wonderful matchup next against the Grizzlies, who are allowing centers to shoot close to 66 percent against them this season.
