3 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic had 26 points on 11-for-15 shooting in Friday's loss to Memphis, and he added 17 rebounds for a big double-double in 29 minutes. He made his only three-point attempt and finished 3-for-4 at the foul line with five assists, one steal and one block. Centers are currently having a field day against Memphis with Jonas Valanciunas (concussion) missing, and Nurkic can go up against them again on Sunday. He's logged 29 minutes of action in back-to-back games, which is great to see after a broken wrist derailed his season. Nurkic also had an issue with his right knee at the start of the month, but luckily it wasn't anything serious.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
