Justise Winslow Pads Stat Sheet Across 43 Minutes
Justise Winslow has been the primary beneficiary of the team’s chaotic start to the season, finding himself as the lead dog on multiple occasions. During Sunday’s loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, he compiled 20 points, eight rebounds, six assists and two blocks across 43 minutes, needing to oscillate between distributor and scorer for the Heat. Now in his fifth NBA campaign, Winslow appears poised to breakout in a major way, even once Jimmy Butler returns. As a defensive maestro, Winslow will have ample opportunity to pad his stats in a variety of ways, including Tuesday against an up-tempo Hawks squad.

Justise Winslow Expected To Play On Sunday
Justise Winslow (ankle) is expected to play on Sunday against Brooklyn. The Duke product missed his last two games while tending to a left ankle sprain. Winslow has averaged only 6.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.1 steals in 2022-23. Although his presence proves useful for Portland's depth, he isn't a consistent fantasy producer, so his return won't mean much to managers.

Justise Winslow Starting Against Cleveland
Justise Winslow will start on Wednesday versus Cleveland. Shaedon Sharpe replaced Damian Lillard (calf) during Monday's meeting in Milwaukee. However, after Sharpe scored two points in 26 minutes in that one, head coach Chauncey Billups will make the swap. Winslow has averaged 8.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in four starts in 2022-23, so DFS managers may look in his direction for value. On the other hand, he's shot only 22.7% from deep, which isn't ideal for category participants.

Justise Winslow Questionable For Thursday
Justise Winslow (illness) is listed as questionable for Thursday's matchup against Brooklyn. He has been battling an illness lately and it's already resulted in Winslow sitting out two games. The 26-year-old had just enjoyed his best form of the season before getting knocked out by the illness, so it's very unfortunate timing for Winslow. With him on the shelf, Nassir Little and Trendon Watford have been covering the frontcourt minutes off the bench. Neither player has managed to impress, though, and it's actually been Drew Eubanks who's played himself on the fantasy map lately, with him also benefitting from Jusuf Nurkic's (quadriceps) healthy issues.

Justise Winslow Ruled Out Tuesday
Justise Winslow (illness) will not play Tuesday against the San Antonio Spurs. Winslow has been dealing with an ankle injury and now an illness which will force him to miss his second straight game. Shaedon Sharpe and Nassir Little should see an increase in minutes off the bench, but do not offer much in terms of fantasy value. Jerami Grant should see the bulk of the minutes at the four.
