1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers manager Craig Counsell confirmed that left-handed reliever Justin Wilson (lat) is done for the rest of the season with a left-lat injury. The Brewers placed Wilson on the 15-day injured list last weekend, and he won't be ready to return for the rest of the year. The 35-year-old veteran southpaw had just returned from the 60-day injured list last Friday after coming back from Tommy John surgery, so it's a tough break for him. Wilson was injured getting ready to enter the game out of the bullpen just before making his 2023 debut. The good news is his lat injury isn't nearly as serious as Tommy John surgery, so he should be ready for spring training next year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
