Justin Turner Unavailable Friday
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers' third baseman Justin Turner (groin) won't be available for Friday's game against the New York Mets. He is dealing with left groin discomfort and hasn't played since Sunday. The 36-year-old will be evaluated on Saturday and remains day-to-day. Turner is having an excellent season, slashing .289/.376/.491 with 20 home runs, 66 RBI, 62 runs scored, and one stolen base over 105 games. Matt Beaty and Chris Taylor will handle the hot corner while Turner is sidelined. Fantasy managers should continue to start Taylor after slashing .282/.373/.487 with 17 home runs, 62 RBI, 80 runs scored, and 11 stolen bases over 448 plate appearances.
