Justin Thomas Looking To Keep Hot Streak Going At The Memorial
10 months agoJustin Thomas has put together a decent string of good finishes over his last three events (T8, T21, T5) since missing the cut at The Masters. Compared to the field this week at Muirfield Village, over the last 12 rounds played by every competitor, JT is ranked second in strokes gained around the green (+8.47), 11th in strokes gained off the tee (+7.07), and 26th in strokes gained on approach (+6.17). Success will be earned or lost with the flat stick for Thomas, and things have not been pretty for most of the season as he ranks 159th in strokes gained putting (-0.447). His relationship with the greens at Jack's place has been volatile at best. More importantly, when things have gone crooked with the putter this season, they've gone completely sideways, and as the eighth-most expensive option this week in both DraftKings and FanDuel, the risk may not be worth the reward because of it.

Justin Thomas Poised For Another Strong Performance At Arnold Palmer Invitational
2 weeks agoJustin Thomas has come close to victory multiple times this season, recording three top-10 finishes in his last four starts. He now turns his attention to the Arnold Palmer Invitational, where he has competed three times, posting finishes of T49 (2015), T21 (2023), and T12 (2024). To continue his success at Bay Hill, Thomas will need to be elite off the tee and on approach, as the course ranks among the toughest in both areas. While Thomas has struggled off the tee this year, losing 1.212 strokes and ranking 86th in total driving, he has more than made up for it with his approach play, gaining 1.045 strokes per round — the fifth-best mark on tour. In what are expected to be tough scoring conditions, avoiding bogeys will also be key, and Thomas ranks eighth in this category. It's only a matter of time before he breaks through for a win, and at his $9,400 price tag on DraftKings, fantasy managers can play him confidently.

Justin Thomas Secures Another Top-10 Finish At WM Phoenix Open
1 month agoJustin Thomas finished tied for sixth at last week's Waste Management Phoenix Open, marking his second top-10 finish in his last three tournaments. He is now focusing on preparing for this week's Genesis Invitational, which will be held at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California. It's worth noting that Torrey Pines hosted the Farmers Insurance Open last month, and over 22% of approach shots were taken from distances over 200 yards. Over the past 12 months, Thomas ranks in the 77th percentile for greens in regulation percentage on approach shots from this distance in the fairway. Thomas has yet to miss a cut in 2025, making him a valuable addition to DFS lineups this week.

Justin Thomas Looks To Rebound At WM Phoenix Open
1 month agoJustin Thomas started last week's Pebble Beach trip strong, posting a six-under 66 on Thursday, but struggled the rest of the way to finish one-under par and end up T48. He also ranked 75th in bogey avoidance over the weekend. Thomas now shifts his focus to TPC Scottsdale for his 11th straight WM Phoenix Open. In his prior appearances, he has made the cut eight times, with each resulting in a finish of T17 or better. This course rewards good drivers of the golf ball, an area where Thomas has struggled this year, ranking 129th in total driving and 156th in strokes gained off the tee. The good news for fantasy managers is that Thomas has only lost strokes off the tee once in this event, which was back in 2016. He has been excellent in other aspects of his game, including ranking ninth in approach shots from 150-175 yards, a distance that accounts for 24.2% of all approach shots at TPC Scottsdale. For his $10,500 DraftKings price tag to be worth it, Thomas will need to get his driving back on track.

Justin Thomas Eyeing Victory At Pebble Beach
2 months agoJustin Thomas was a popular pick for the American Express, and the former world No. 1 golfer did not disappoint. Thomas posted rounds of 67-64-68-66 and finished in second place before taking the week off to prepare for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Over the last two years, Thomas ranks in the 98th percentile for proximity on shots from 100-150 yards, a range that accounts for 37.6% of all approaches at Pebble Beach. His flat stick has finally started turning in positive results as well, gaining strokes to the field in putting in his previous two events. Thomas has also widely been considered one of the best wedge players on tour, and with Pebble Beach being the shortest par-72 course of the season at just 6,972 yards, the course is a perfect fit for him. He also made a run at winning this event in 2024, finishing T6. Fantasy managers should not hesitate to get in on the Justin Thomas sweepstakes at $9,800 on DraftKings.
