Justin Smoak A Late Scratch From Friday's Lineup
6 years agoChanging an earlier report, Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Justin Smoak (neck) will be scratched on Friday night against Shane Bieber and the Cleveland Indians. Smoak also missed Thursday's game with the same ailment. The 32-year-old slugger has produced a .200 average to go along with one home run and four RBI through 25 at-bats. Billy McKinney starts at first base and bats third with Smoak's absence, while Rowdy Tellez serves as the designated hitter and bats fifth. The Jays offense has been dismal and is a group to fade in DFS formats on Friday night.
