Justin Rose Struggles In Masters Tune-Up
7 years agoRounds of 68 and 69 had Justin Rose in contention heading to the weekend at the Houston Open, but back-to-back 72s ended any chance he had and he sputtered to a T52 finish. It was a surprising result for Rose, who has been one of 2018's hottest golfers. Prior to the Houston Open, he had four top-10s in five starts and his worst finish was a T37 at the WGC Mexico Championships. Still, Rose should be viewed as a real contender at the Masters, a tournament where he has never finished worse than 39th and has two second-place finishes in his last three trips.
