Justin Lower Is On A Consistent Run Going Into Black Desert Championship
1 month agoFrom a cuts-made perspective, Justin Lower is one of the best in the field, as the 35-year-old looks to make his ninth cut in a row this week in Utah. However, it has been difficult for him to crack the top 25 in most of them with an average finish of 39th over that span. The good news is that his last two finishes of T28 and T7 are mostly his best in this run and Black Desert Resort seems like it could play to his strength of being the third-best player in this field in strokes gained putting on bentgrass greens (averaging +0.95 strokes gained putting per round over his last 12 rounds). The bad news is off the tee, where he ranks 126th in driving distance (295.6) and 98th in driving accuracy (58.83%). Having solid outputs on the greens is great, but the discrepancies with the driver make him an iffy name to trust at $9,600 on FanDuel.
