Justin Jefferson - Week 6 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoThere have been few more consistent wide receivers to start the season than Justin Jefferson. Averaging nine targets, seven receptions and 92 yards per game, the Minnesota Vikings stud wideout continues his ascent to weekly WR1 status. Jefferson combines a healthy target share of 24.9% on the season with an ADOT of at least 12.4 in all but one game. The Carolina Panthers defense ranks sixth against opposing fantasy receivers in what could be a low-scoring game, so temper expectations. Jefferson has only run 17.6% of his routes from the slot, so he should avoid Panthers standout slot corner A.J. Bouye for most of the day. Even given the less-than-ideal matchup against a stout Panthers defense, there is no way you're sitting Jefferson this week or any other week. Another WR1 performance is almost a certainty at this point.
