Justin Hardy Not Worthy Of Starting In Week 8
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Justin Hardy should receive more opportunities going forward now that Mohamed Sanu is no longer with the team. However, the Falcons have a lot of mouths to feed in their passing game and Hardy will at best be the fourth option this week behind Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley and Austin Hooper. He also might not get as many targets as running back Devonta Freeman. Starting quarterback Matt Ryan (ankle) is questionable for the game and if the team's backup Matt Schaub starts, then Hardy's outlook is even bleaker. Hardy is worth keeping an eye on going forward and if either of the team's top two receivers go down, he'd become an instant add candidate. For now, he can remain on waivers in all leagues.
