Justin Grimm Massacred By Blue Jays
7 years agoKansas City Royals relief pitcher Justin Grimm started the season with 4 1/3 innings in which he only allowed one earned run. What a difference 10 days makes. Wednesday night, Grimm allowed six runs while only getting one out against the Blue Jays. This capped off a 10-day span in which Grimm has posted an ERA of 50.14 in 2 1/3 innings. Of the last 10 batters he's faced, Grimm has only gotten one out while surrendering five walks, four hits, and nine earned runs. Needless to say, Grimm's shot at serving as Kelvin Herrera's main handcuff is a thing of the past.
