Justin Foscue Swipes Two Bags
1 year agoTexas Rangers second base prospect Justin Foscue swiped his eighth and ninth stolen bases of the season in a 1-for-5 showing for Triple-A Round Rock. The 24-year-old has had a solid season with Round Rock, slashing .263/.382/.454 with 11 home runs, 45 RBI, and 60 runs through 80 games. The 2020 first-round pick has shown incredible plate discipline this season, with a 14% walk rate and a 12.8% strikeout rate. While there are no open spaces for him in the majors, he can still get a call-up this season with a trade or injury. Foscue's elite hit tool makes him a stash option in deep redraft leagues.
