Justin Fields Will Practice Thursday
3 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields (groin) will practice Thursday. He sat out Wednesday's practice due to a groin injury. The Bears are being cautious with their rookie QB, and it will be a light day for Fields on Thursday. The plan is for the 2021 first-round pick to play in the team's second preseason game against the Buffalo Bills. Fields had a strong preseason debut, completing 14-of-20 passes for 142 yards and a touchdown while also rushing for 33 yards and a score. Andy Dalton will start Week 1 but expect Fields to supplant him as the Bears starting quarterback during the regular season.
