Justin Fields To Start Against Lions
1 year agoChicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields (thumb) is expected to return from his four-game absence and start against the Detroit Lions in Week 11. Fields suffered a dislocated thumb during the Week 6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings and has been sidelined ever since. Before his injury, the third-year signal-caller was coming off overall QB1 and QB3 performances. He will have immediate upside against the Lions, who have surrendered the 10th-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. Although his team will be outmatched, and he could have a low floor, he's probably worth starting in leagues of at least 12 teams. His fantasy upside rivals any player in the NFL due to his rushing prowess. UPDATE: Fields was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
