Justin Fields Quiet In Season Finale
11 months agoChicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields scored at least 20 fantasy points in four of his first six games after returning from a hand injury, but he couldn't end the 2023 season on a high note. The former first-round pick completed 11-of-16 passes for 148 yards while rushing eight times for 27 yards in the team's 17-9 loss. This was just the third time all year in which Fields totaled less than 200 yards in a full game, despite the matchup seeming favorable before the game. With the Bears owning the Panthers' first-round pick in 2024, which will be number one overall, there are serious questions about whether the team should look to extend Fields or take Caleb Williams first overall. After a rocky start, Fields strung together some strong games and benefited from the addition of DJ Moore. Although he didn't end the 2023 season on a high note, Fields will give the Bears a tough choice this offseason.
