Justin Fields Has A Bruised Left Hand
3 years agoChicago Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields (hand) suffered a bruise on his left non-throwing hand in the Week 14 loss to the Green Bay Packers, but head coach Matt Nagy said Fields should be fine. Despite facing plenty of pressure from the Packers defense, Fields held his own and made good decisions with the football while keeping his eyes downfield all night long. Fields went 18-for-33 for 224 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions against Green Bay. The 22-year-old should be just fine to play next Monday night against the Minnesota Vikings, where he'll be a low-end QB2 with upside in fantasy. The Vikings defense has been a good matchup for opposing QBs for most of the season, allowing 251.9 passing yards per game and the fourth-most fantasy points per game to the position.
