Justin Edwards Ruled Out For Thursday
1 day agoPhiladelphia 76ers forward Justin Edwards (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's game against the Boston Celtics. Edwards sprained his left ankle on Tuesday's practice. According to a team official, Edwards will also miss Saturday's matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. He'll be re-evaluated next week. Edwards has made 25 appearances as a Sixer, averaging 8.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 0.8 steals in 28.8 minutes as a starter, while shooting 36.4 percent on 4.0 three-point attempts per game. Quentin Grimes and Ricky Council IV will have an opportunity to make a bigger impact in Edwards' absence.
