Justin Edwards Injures Ankle In Practice
1 day agoPhiladelphia 76ers forward Justin Edwards (ankle) may be forced to miss Thursday's matchup against the Boston Celtics after getting hurt in Tuesday's practice. Edwards sprained his left ankle. Coming out of Kentucky, Edwards went undrafted in last year's draft, but he has carved out a significant role in the 76ers rotation, starting nine of the past 10 games. The 21-year-old has averaged 9.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 28.8 minutes as a starter. If Edwards can't play in Thursday's contest, Quentin Grimes and Ricky Council IV will have an opportunity to make a bigger impact.
