Justin Bour Reaches Three Times In Marlins' Loss
6 years agoMiami Marlins first baseman Justin Bour picked up one hit and two walks in Saturday's loss to Atlanta. He also scored the Marlins' lone run in the game. While his average sits at a lowly .242 this season, Bour still has power potential with his nine home runs and has added another facet to his game by demonstrating better plate discipline. This year, he has 30 walks to only 32 strikeouts and is posting an efficient .383 OBP to date. Bour's BABIP on the season is low as well, as the .253 mark would be the lowest of his career. In points leagues and OBP formats, Bour remains a good bargain play even while hitting in the middle of the Marlins' anemic offense.
