Jussi Jokinen Records Three Points In Canucks Win
7 years agoVancouver Canucks forward Jussi Jokinen had his best game of the season on Saturday, recording three points -- a goal and a pair of assists -- against Columbus in a 5-4 overtime win. It was a bit of a revenge game for the Finnish veteran, as the Jackets picked him up from waivers in January, but traded him after only 14 appearances. The Canucks have tied their season high with four consecutive wins and Jokinen has played a vital part in it, collecting six points during the streak. He's skating on the first line with young guns Nikolay Goldobin and Bo Horvat, who both also scored on Saturday. Jokinen has bounced around a few organizations this season, slowly dropping out of the league, but looks like there's still some life left in him, as he had eight points in 11 games in March.
