2 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder/second baseman Jurickson Profar is hitting leadoff again in Thursday's contest versus the Washington Nationals. Thursday marks the fourth game of the season for Profar and the fourth time he's hit out of the leadoff spot as the trend continues. Signed late in spring training, Profar has scuffled out of the gate in the regular season as he's just 1-for-11 with a walk across 12 trips to the plate. The switch-hitting veteran hit .243 with 15 home runs, five steals, and a .722 OPS across 135 games last season with the San Diego Padres. He and the Rockies take on Nationals right-hander Josiah Gray as it's Opening Day at Coors Field in Denver this afternoon.--Brenton Kemp
