Junior Caminero Continues To Hit His Way Towards Tampa Bay
1 year agoTampa Bay Ray's infield prospect Junior Caminero has continued to be an offensive force where ever he goes. Whether it is the Australian Baseball League or Minor League Baseball in the United States, the 20-year-old always packs his bat. Over 358 plate appearances this season, Caminero is slashing .316/.377/.542 with 16 home runs and a respectable 22% strikeout rate. Since his promotion to Double-A on May 30th, the numbers aren't quite as eye-popping, but Caminero is still hitting .282 with five HRs through 46 games. With just four steals on the year, the infielder does not offer much on the bases, but he should have plenty of bat to carry him to Tampa in 2024. Caminero has solidified his status as an elite prospect, and his dynasty value continues to soar.
