Jung Hoo Lee Smashes Huge Homer For The Giants
47 seconds agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Jung Hoo Lee hit his first home run of the season in Friday's rain-shortened win over the Yankees. His three-run homer fueled the Giants' five-run first inning against Marcus Stromen and jump-started their offense in the 9-1 road win. Lee went 2-for-2 with that home run, two walks, two runs scored, and three RBI. He raised his batting average to .340 in his 12 games this season with a .432 wOBA. He has three stolen bases and 13 runs scored with nine extra-base hits compared to seven singles. He had a 41% hard-hit rate last year in his first season with the Giants and has increased that to a 47.5% hard-hit rate so far this season. He's off to a great start to the season as a key contributor to the Giants' 10-3 start to the season.
