7 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward/center Julius Randle was productive during the Saturday night loss to the Mavs. Randle was extremely accurate from the field, finishing shooting 10-for-14 for a total of 26 points. He also had eight boards and seven assists but had ball-control issues, turning it over five times. Nonetheless, after seeing his name in trade rumors, the deadline came and went with Randle remaining on the squad. He has been consistent this season and is sporting a usage rate of 25.1 percent to go along with averages of 14 points and seven boards per game. With forward Larry Nance Jr. out of the picture, Randle should see his minutes rise significantly, as evident by the 37 minutes that he received against Dallas -- 13 more than what he has normally played this year. He will have a nice matchup on Wednesday against a Pelicans team that likes to play fast and has struggled on the defensive end all season.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
