Julio Urias Throws From 120 Feet, Feels No Pain
7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect Julio Urias (shoulder) has felt no pain in his rehab pitching program even as he's gotten to throwing from 120 feet. He's been recovering from anterior capsule surgery since last July and now basically lives in Arizona, where the team is about to leave him behind for a second year in a row. Last year, the Dodgers were trying to manage his innings after bringing him up prematurely in 2016. There is still no timetable for when he'll throw off the mound or face hitters. The young hurler showed tremendous promise, but now it's anyone's guess as to what his future holds. He seems to be making slow and steady progress but isn't worth monitoring until more useful news is given.
