Julio Urias Healthy For 2019, But Role With Dodgers Unclear
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect Julio Urias is healthy heading into spring training and is ready to prove himself, per Orange County Register's Bill Plunkett. At just 22 years old, Urias has been one of the Dodgers' top pitching prospects for several years but has been unable to stay healthy. Manager Dave Roberts said that the plan for Urias is to build him into a starter, but mentioned that he would be on a pitch count. He also said that it is unclear whether Urias would start the season with the Dodgers or with Triple-A Oklahoma City. Urias has a great deal of value in keeper and dynasty leagues, but fantasy players in re-draft leagues should monitor Urias' progress throughout spring training to gauge his potential fantasy value in 2019.
