5 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Julio Teheran will replace reliever Chris Martin, who strained his oblique on Thursday, on the team's National League Division Series roster against the Cardinals. It's a blow to the back end of Atlanta's bullpen after Mark Melancon blew the game against St. Louis in Game 1. Max Fried will now be a top bullpen option the next couple of games, and Teheran would likely start a Game 4, if necessary. Teheran had a decent season but was left off the initial NLDS roster after posting a 6.56 ERA in 23 1/3 innings over his last five starts of the regular season. Because of that, he won't be a very popular DFS option if he makes a start in this series.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
