4 months agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez (ankle) has been placed on the 10-day injured list prior to Tuesday's game. This is a tough blow to the Mariners after Rodriguez injured his right ankle in a collision with a wall during Sunday's game. The organization was hopeful that it was a minor ankle but that doesn't appear to be the case. Now, Rodriguez will miss at least the next 10 days with a mild ankle sprain. The Mariners have recalled outfielders Jonatan Clase and Cade Marlowe to help fill the void. It'll likely be a committee approach in center field which won't give any of these players much fantasy appeal.
