Julio Rodriguez Picks Up Three Hits In Loss To Angels
4 months agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez had a big night in his team's 6-5 loss to the Los Angeles Angels in 10 innings on Friday. Rodriguez went 3-for-5 with a homer and two RBI but it wasn't enough in the close loss. The young star kicked off the scoring for Seattle with a two-run homer off Angels starter Tyler Anderson in the first inning. The blast traveled 368 feet with an exit velocity of 106.3 MPH. Rodriguez has been red-hot at the plate lately, batting .550 with two homers and four RBI over his past seven games. Overall, he's hitting .264 with 10 homers, 44 runs, 34 RBI, and 10 stolen bases over 368 at-bats.
