2 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez (back) is not in the lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Toronto Blue Jays. J-Rod left Saturday's contest early with back tightness so it makes sense that the Mariners are going to be extra cautious with their 22-year-old phenom. He'll get an extra day off on Monday as well as the M's are traveling to Oakland to kick off a three-game set against their division rival. For now, it looks like a serious injury was avoided but fantasy managers will breathe a sigh of relief if Rodriguez is in the starting lineup on Tuesday.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
