5 months agoSeattle Mariners superstar outfielder Julio Rodriguez (undisclosed) departed the game early on Saturday afternoon. No reason was immediately given by the team for his early exit. It should be noted that Rodriguez did seem to injure himself on Thursday while catching a fly ball in the game that day, and he seemed to be favoring his wrist or thumb at that time. Luke Raley replaced Rodriguez in center field Saturday, and Ty France replaced Raley at first base. Rodriguez has struggled a bit at the plate in his third season, hitting .247 with eight home runs, 30 RBI, 18 stolen bases and 40 runs scored.
