Julio Jones, Tevin Coleman Not Practicing
6 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones (hip, ribs) and running back Tevin Coleman (groin) both missed practice on Wednesday. Jones has been fighting through injuries as usual but continues to play. While Jones had a quiet day last Sunday, he did have his fourth touchdown in the last three games. He had 10 catches for 144 yards in his first matchup against the Buccaneers, so he'll be a high-end WR1 for Week 17 if he plays. Coleman is dealing with a strained groin and seems unlikely to suit up in a meaningless game. That'd mean that Brian Hill would see most of the work in the backfield as a DFS sleeper.
